Contract Staffing Thailand
Fixed-term hiring for production ramps, peak season and leave cover
The worker is employed by us on a Thai contract and takes direction from you. Social Security Office contributions, the Workmen's Compensation Fund, withholding, statutory leave and the reporting that comes with being an employer here all sit on our side, along with the risk if a replacement becomes necessary. The usual reasons are a project ramp, a maternity cover, or a stretch of demand you would rather not hire permanently against.

Contract staffing in Thailand, backed by 24+ years
The expensive mistake in Thai contract staffing is assuming a fixed-term contract ends cleanly. Where the work is ongoing and the contract is simply renewed again and again, the employment is treated as continuous, and severance accrues on a scale that rises with length of service. Employers who discover that at the end of a third renewal are looking at a cost they never budgeted. We employ the worker through People Profilers Bangkok Recruitment Co., Ltd., carry Social Security and Workmen's Compensation contributions, and structure the contract at the outset for how long the work genuinely runs. It suits a production ramp in Rayong, seasonal volume in a Bangkok distribution centre, or cover for parental leave that starts in a fortnight. If you are weighing contract against permanent, we have set out how the statutory layer compares on a permanent hire.
How our billing-rate model works
One rate. Monthly for anything running past a quarter, hourly for short cover. Salary, statutory cost and margin combined into a single line in the engagement letter, settled before the first day worked.
Monthly Billing Rate
- ✓Salary, statutory, and margin in one rate
- ✓Includes Social Security and Workmen's Compensation, and Employee Welfare Fund or provident fund contributions
- ✓Statutory leave provisions covered
- ✓Suitable for deployments three months and above
Hourly Billing Rate
- ✓For short-term, project-based, or peak-season deployments
- ✓Same statutory cost inclusions as monthly
- ✓Transparent hourly rate, no hidden costs
- ✓Suitable for deployments under three months
Conversion Option
- ✓Engage a deployed contractor as your direct employee
- ✓Conversion fee documented before deployment begins
- ✓Calculated on deployment duration completed
- ✓Standard market protection, agreed upfront
Every deployment carries a minimum engagement period, and statutory cost never arrives as a separate invoice. Moving a deployed contractor onto your own payroll while the introduction validity period is running triggers the conversion fee in your engagement letter.
What makes a Thai contract engagement work
Three decisions made early determine whether a contract engagement runs cleanly here.
A contract shaped to the real duration
Writing the requirement as a contract rather than adapting a permanent job description. Duration, deliverables, and what the first three months must produce. Permanent specifications ask about career progression and attract people who want it, who then leave.
One rate with statutory inside it
Keeping statutory cost inside the quoted figure. Ours is. Social Security Office contributions, the Workmen's Compensation Fund, withholding and statutory leave are already in the rate, with no separate invoice arriving later.
An exit planned on day one
Settling the ending at the start. Extension, conversion, replacement, all three decided and documented on day one. There is a further reason to do this here: severance under the Labour Protection Act accrues with length of service, so an open-ended arrangement quietly builds a liability nobody budgeted for.
ENGAGEMENT MODEL
You direct the work day to day. We stay the legal employer.
Social Security and Workmen's Compensation carried by us · Extensions and early release handled to Thai statutory notice · Built for production ramps, peak season and leave cover
Industries & Functions We Cover
Contract demand is not uniform. A plant preparing for a shutdown, a hotel absorbing a seasonal peak, a bank resourcing a programme with a hard end date: very little about the screening or the urgency carries across. Shortlists are built from what the situation needs, which is not always what the job title suggests.
Aerospace & Aviation

Frequently asked questions
Who is People Profilers Bangkok Recruitment Co., Ltd.?
People Profilers Bangkok Recruitment Co., Ltd. is the contract workforce arm of People Profilers, a Southeast Asia HR group founded in 2002 with Thailand operations established 2022. We act as the direct employer of contract personnel deployed at client sites across Thailand and the region.
What contract staffing roles do you cover?
Administration and operations, customer and technical support, accounting and finance support, warehousing and logistics, technical trades and engineering, hospital administration, and project roles across most sectors.
Contract suits work with a defined end point. Where a role is permanent in everything but name, we will say so, and here that advice has a cost attached: severance obligations accrue with service regardless of what the contract is called.
How is your billing rate calculated?
Salary for the role, plus every statutory contribution owed on it, plus our margin, expressed as one figure that does not grow afterwards. Seniority and skill scarcity move it, the provincial minimum wage sets the floor, and it is fixed in the engagement letter before the contractor starts.
What's the Conversion Fee if we hire a contractor permanently?
A fee applies where you move a deployed contractor onto your own payroll while the introduction validity period in your engagement letter is still running, because finding and employing that person cost us something.
It reduces month by month and reaches zero once the period ends. Keeping a contractor who has worked out is the outcome everyone wanted, and nothing in the terms is built to discourage it.
How quickly can you deploy contract workers?
Administrative, support and operations roles usually produce candidates within days, and the start date after that follows notice periods rather than search time.
Technical and licensed roles run longer, and anything gated by background screening or a work permit moves at that process's speed rather than ours. Ask at briefing and you get a figure for your role, not an average.
